Yerba Mansa / Guarana Blend This mild caffeine (less than 7%) herbal tea blend brings together a special plant from Native people of the Southwestern US and Northwestern Mexico with another from our brothers and sisters of the Amazon basin. Yerba Mansa (Anemopsis californica), grown hydroponically in Tucson, Arizona, is the southwestern version of goldenseal. It combines an aromatic earthy flavor with the inulin rich, roasted chicory root (Cichorium intybus), another European import adopted by Native people. The South American Guarana (Paullinia sorbilis) vines offer seeds that the Amazonian people have enjoyed as a tea for many centuries. Additionally, small quantities of peppermint leaf (Mentha piperita) and the dietary supplement sweetener, Stevia Leaf, create the right effect for a coffee substitute treat to start your busy mornings or cool afternoons. |
